Computer Lessons:
In our ever changing
world of Technology we believe
in introducing children to
computers early. Children
have the opportunity to learn
through what we consider
a moving, interactive textbook.
Children from the age of
three are introduced to technology
in a fun, non-threatening
way.
Abacus
and Early Maths:
Children in out preschool group have the chance to use a long forgotten tool- the abacus. Children develop early maths and counting skills using this old style calculator. We feel it is important to offer kinaesthetic ways of learning and no instrument does the trick like the Abacus when it comes to learning to count.
Japanese Lessons:
Miss Kayoko is a special member of our team as she helps to introduce the children in our care to a second language. Japanese is taught in most primary and high schools in Queensland and so children getting a head start in simple Japanese will always have an advantage. Children are taught simple phrases, continuing and words in a fun and educational way.
Vacation Care:
At Creative Kids we offer Vacation care during the school holidays for children aged between six and elevan years. The program is full timne during the holidays and offers a variety of activities age appropriate to school age children. We run excursions and also centre days. Excursions will incur an extra fee which will be added to the daily fee.
